Client Account Manager

Austin, TX
Part Time to Full Time
Experienced

Treaty Oak Employers’ Law Group is seeking a motivated, entrepreneurial, and client-focused Client Account Manager to help drive firm growth while delivering an exceptional experience to prospective and existing clients.

About Treaty Oak Employers’ Law Group:

Treaty Oak did not begin as a generic employment firm. It began with the demanding work of workplace investigations: neutral scoping, careful witness handling, documentation, evidence review, and findings that may later be scrutinized by an agency, court, board, executive team, or the court of public opinion.

That origin shaped the rest of the practice. Day-to-day employment advice, handbooks, onboarding, offboarding, training, executive coaching, and compliance work all benefit from the same discipline: understand how people and systems actually operate, identify risk early, and give employers clear footing before a problem hardens. Our litigation, coaching, entity, and estate planning work supports our entrepreneurial employers just the same.

About You:

This is a sales-oriented, client-facing role for someone who enjoys talking to people, building relationships, identifying opportunities, and turning prospective clients into retained clients. You will be one of the first points of contact for individuals seeking help with workplace issues, so strong communication skills, business savvy, empathy, professionalism, and the ability to build trust quickly are essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage prospective clients through the intake and retention pipeline, from initial contact to execution of the representation agreement
  • Discuss the firm's services, approach, and representation process while building rapport and establishing trust with prospective clients
  • Manage the agreement process with new clients, including following up with prospective clients who have not signed or returned their agreements
  • Maintain consistent follow-up communications to improve conversion rates and reduce lost opportunities
  • Coordinate with attorneys and other team members to facilitate a smooth transition from intake and onboarding to the legal team
  • Request, collect, and organize employment-related documents and other materials needed from clients after engagement, ensuring client files are complete, organized and properly documented
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date records in HubSpot, the firm's customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Conduct post-engagement or post-service follow-ups when the firm's work is completed
  • Meet established performance goals related to responsiveness, client conversion, follow-up, and other agreed-upon sales metrics
  • Build and maintain relationships with former clients through active outreach and follow up campaigns to identify opportunities for renewed engagement
  • Be willing to take on reasonable additional responsibilities as needed in a growing small business

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience in sales, client intake, customer success, client relations, business development, or a similar client-facing role
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong listening skills and the ability to ask thoughtful, relevant questions
  • Confidence communicating with prospective clients, conducting follow-up calls, and asking for a commitment
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple prospects, tasks, deadlines, and follow-ups simultaneously
  • Experience using a CRM system, preferably HubSpot, and a willingness to maintain detailed, accurate records
  • Strong personal accountability and a track record of following through on commitments
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively without constant supervision
  • A collaborative mindset and willingness to adapt in a small, growing organization
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential and sensitive information
  • Working knowledge of business systems and entrepreneurial thinking

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in a law firm, legal intake, employment law, or another professional services environment
  • Experience with consultative sales, lead qualification, and client conversion
  • Experience managing a sales pipeline and working toward measurable performance targets
